As of June 2025, the methodology used to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in the UK has undergone a significant update with the rollout of RdSAP10. This change, introduced by the government, aims to provide more accurate, data-driven assessments of residential energy performance — ultimately helping property owners make more informed decisions.

At the heart of RdSAP10 are more detailed data requirements, including updated standards for insulation, ventilation, heating systems, glazing, and renewable technologies.
